I'm fascinated by the process of representing the world in paint, and by both what is gained and lost in personal interpretation. It's a very personal journey and is sometimes my link to, sometimes my barrier against the world. I work in acrylic on board, usually out on location and always in situ, where a dialogue between myself and my subject can exist. 

I graduated with a degree in Fine Art, Painting and Drawing from the University of Gloucestershire in 2007, since when I have exhibited both nationally and internationally. I spent some years painting commissioned portraits but just recently I've been immersed in the practice of landscape painting, which I find is much the same thing. My work is currently on display at Project Gallery 90 in Sydney, Australia.
