Ellipse is a steel sculpture playing with a simple architectural form. This works considers the importance of steel as the foundational structure of our human built environment. Playing with organic and inorganic, the inner face of the work has been blasted away with a process called gas gouging, returning this raw industrial material back to its base material nature.
