This vibrant watercolour depicts Crook Peak, which is located on the western edge of the Mendip Hills and is a distinctive feature in the landscape. Its summit of craggy limestone is an exciting scramble at the end of a walk with amazing views. From here, you can enjoy a far-reaching panorama of the surrounding countryside and out to the coast. The area's limestone grassland and scrub are home to many birds, including stonechats. This tiny bird can be found in my watercolour if you search closely!
