Curtain Call is a surreal charcoal drawing that combines the human form with a potted plant. The work is intentionally left open to interpretation, inviting viewers to decide whether the arm is emerging from the plant or disappearing into it. The grainy charcoal texture evokes analogue photography, while the curtain backdrop creates a sense of performance and staged memory.
