This wing section is from a North American Mustang P51B world war 2 fighter aircraft. The wing was hidden behind an aircraft hanger in Kent along with other parts of the dismantled airframe. The markings on the wing show that the aircraft was used by both American and British forces during the war, weathering has revealed under painting of original insignia From American re allocated to RAF forces.
