“All in the eyes” was created after I had just finished my GCSE exams, after a lot of art course work, I felt I had lost my passion and creative spark. But a couple weeks later I had the urge to paint a massive portrait. So here we are! The lady depicted i simply know nothing about, a picture I found whilst scrolling through striking portraits of people. Her eyes spoke to me and the way her hair fell, I don’t know this woman. And that’s the beauty of the painting. I created the backstory, and was draw in by her eyes. So that became the title. Similar to all my paintings, each brush stroke was placed with intention.
