The screen with its two apertures is just an item of packaging, but it made quite a dramatic background to support and inspire an unusual still life group. The red glass decanter and dried flowers suited in terms of size and colour and the scattered wedges picked up on the angles and triangles created by the screen. The inside of the decanter became an interior world of its own making.
