Laser cut mountboard with neon paper

h: 52 w: 36 d: 3 (cms).

"Neon Depths" explores repetition, geometry, and dynamism through colour and form. A basic geometric shape is repeated in a grid with varying elongation. Each layer is offset inwards with vivid neon colours to create a sense of depth. The precise alignment and alternating patterns generate an optical effect, where the flat surface appears to shift as the viewer’s eye moves across it. By balancing symmetry with variation, the piece captures both order and movement.

Laser cut mountboard with neon paper

h: 54 w: 38 d: 1 (cms).

"Neon Pathways" is an exploration of movement and vibrancy. Set against a black background, the composition features layers of pathways that curve and loop with seamless fluidity. The pathways are arranged in bold parallel bands of neon colours, creating a glowing, electric effect that represents both retro aesthetics and contemporary techniques. The repetition of rounded arcs and geometric turns gives the piece motion. The contrast between the saturated neon hues and the dark void of the background heightens the sense of depth and dynamism, drawing the viewer’s eye along each winding course. "Neon Pathways" invites viewers to lose themselves in its labyrinth of color and form, suggesting both structured order and infinite possibility.
