I am interested in words. I was inspired by the lyrics of the John Lennon song ‘How?’ on the ‘Imagine’ album: ‘How can I go forward when I don’t know which way I’m facing?’ I thought about how I could depict this, and drew the three different road views (Gay Street, Brock Street, Bennett Street), whilst standing on The Circus roundabout in Bath.
